As a Prenatal Yoga Teacher you have the opportunity to promote birth as the normal, yet immensely powerful event that it is. Pregnancy is a time when many women begin to make positive changes in their lives in preparation for all the changes that motherhood will bring. For many women this will be their first venture into a yoga practice and they will look toward their teacher as someone who can provide guidance and safety as they move forward toward birth.

Yoga For Moms Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training will provide the participant with the information and skills necessary to effectively guide pregnant women through their pregnancies and into motherhood with the support of yoga.

Participants will:
  • Learn Anatomy and Physiology of the pregnant body
  • Learn which poses are contraindicated in pregnancy
  • Ways to modify for postures in pregnancy
  • Practice teaching
  • Spend time discussing marketing strategies

You will receive a certificate of completion upon finishing the training. This certificate will entitle you to 30 hours of Continuing Education Credits with Yoga Alliance.
