YOGA FOR PREGNANT COUPLES: A Preparation for Birth

A unique, three hour workshop for expectant couples
focusing on ways to prepare for the birth of your baby using yoga and labor support techniques. We will practice partner poses,
massage to increase the relaxation response and breath awareness to aid in the labor process.

If mom has a currently active 4 class card for Monday night Prenatal Yoga
class take a $5 discount off per workshop per couple.
Please bring an exercise ball if you have one.

Giving birth should be a normal and exciting event in a woman's life. For many
women, the prenatal period is spent preparing for one of the most profound experiences possible. This workshop will introduce pregnant
women to the concept of mindfulness through yoga as preparation for birth. There will be some time for sharing and
then we will move into a gentle, yet challenging yoga practice specifically for the pregnant body. This workshop is appropriate
for any pregnant woman, regardless of where she is in her pregnancy or whether she has had any previous yoga experience. All
pregnant women are welcome.

Appropriate for girls age 9 and up
A fun workshop for mothers and daughters who are curious about yoga and are interested in
learning more about the practice. We will introduce the concept of mindfulness through breath awareness, asana (posture) and
relaxation. There will be some time to practice partner postures as well as an introduction to the sun salutation. This workshop
is appropriate for all mothers and their daughters over the age of nine.
