Ann Israel is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, Fellow in the American College of Childbirth Educators, Whole Birth
Certified Yoga Teacher, and Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. She is also certified as a Labor
Support Specialist and Breastfeeding Suppport Specialist through Lamaze International. In addition, Ann provides Postpartum
Doula support.

My Philosophy
The philosophy behind Yoga For Moms lies in the belief that birth is a natural process in which women can fully participate.
By practicing yoga and becoming connected with the mind, body and spirit, women will feel empowered by their own strength
and they will gain confidence in their abilities to give birth and grow into motherhood. Evidence indicates that women
who practice yoga during pregnancy have shorter, less painful labors. Pregnancy is an ideal time in a woman's life to begin
practicing yoga, as it opens one's mind to the many healthful benefits of deep breathing, flexibility and relaxation.
