  • Recommendations for other prenatal and postpartum services including; doula services, lactation consultation, pregnancy massage and postpartum support
  • Level 1 and Level 2 Hatha Yoga Classes for those who are not pregnant
  • Workshops for Couples
  • Mother/Daughter Yoga Workshops

Ann Israel is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, Fellwo in the American College of Childbirth Educators, Whole Birth Certified Yoga Teacher, and Registered Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. She is also certified as a Labor Support Specialist and Breastfeeding Suppport Specialist through Lamaze International. She is available for private classes in your home.

My Philosophy

The philosophy behind Yoga For Moms lies in the belief that birth is a normal process in which women can fully participate. By practicing yoga and becoming connected with the mind, body and spirit, women will feel empowered by their own strength and they will gain confidence in their abilities to give birth and grow into motherhood. Pregnancy is an ideal time in a woman's life to begin practicing yoga, as it opens one's mind to the many healthful benefits of deep breathing, flexibility and relaxation.
