Bringing a new member of the family into the world is exciting, as well as a little scary! New and expectant
mothers need a lot of support and information. As a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, and Experienced Registered Yoga
Teacher, I have been working with pregnant women and their families since 1993, easing the transition from pregnancy to motherhood.
My
strong belief is that birth is normal, not a medical condition, and the majority of women want to have a positive birth experience.
Learning what to expect during pregnancy and beyond, as well as practicing yoga will enable most women to be better prepared
for the birth process and will help them to make informed decisions. Yoga postures are an ideal way for pregnant women
to prepare for delivery and for new mothers to get back into shape after delivery.
